Beef Creek is an 11-minute adult animation proof-of-concept pilot from Negative Kitty.
The show follows the supernatural misadventures of a New York-style deli in the middle of nowhere.
Withered occultist Mr. Petrulo owns and operates the Beef Creek deli with a rag-tag team of three deli warriors and one useless slob:
Sandra, a toeless but lethal and unpredictable ex-commando;
her husband Horace, the butcher with a superhuman transformation;
Lily, the katana-weilding teenage ninja prodigy;
and Ralphie, an early 30’s manchild with a heart of gold.
Comedy-Horror-Action
What if you mashed up Always Sunny, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Naruto?
Beef Creek was born out of our long-burning drive to create things that we would want to see on TV (or our phone, or laptop, etc).
The Newgrounds aesthetic is a badge of pride for us — we aren’t mega-talented anime artists, nor are we seasoned animation industry vets —we’re a handful of folks in the USA & Canada who believed in this idea and put in an insane amount of work to actualize it!
The History of Beef Creek
Aspiring comedy buddies Seby X Martinez and Devin Wallace met at Bard College and began developing the series in 2015.
Seby and animator Kurt Vinci met in 2017 and started collaborating on shorts and series pitches, and more Beef Creek scripts and drawings started to pile up...
In 2023 Seby & Kurt secured limited funding through Indiegogo and formed a team of 40+ animators, voice actors and musicians to bring the short to life.
The 11-minute cartoon was completed in 2024 and screened at indie horror & animation festivals across the world into 2025, gaining some inspiring Letterboxd reviews from total strangers!
Kelly Polk is Lily.
Jean-Paul Zuhur is Ralphie.
Seby X Martinez is Horace and Sandra.
Jaynee Anne Monarrez is Salmahay.
Lloyd Kaufman is Mr. Petrulo.
Beef Creek will see a digital and physical release in 2026!
